As an independent, specialist property valuation and consultancy firm, Pontons offers a confidential, high calibre valuation and buyer’s advisory service for luxury property, investment and development opportunities coupled with lifestyle assets throughout Sydney’s unique and competitive real estate market.
Founded in 1997, Pontons’ three directors, Andrew Tunbridge, Paul Donovan and Andrew Parkinson, today share 70 years of collective industry expertise. Our specialised team of eight valuers provide a wealth of experience, knowledge and a diverse market coverage.

ROYAL FAR WEST TOUR de CHANCE
Country communities have had a tough couple of years - affected by drought, devastating bushfires, floods, a mouse plague, and a global pandemic. We joined 28 riders who clocked up just under 450 kilomeres of riding and 6000 meters of climbing in three days around the New England region of NSW. The weather ranged from freezing, wet and windy to bluebird perfection - raising around $250 K which will provide frontline support for country kids in need. The riders did the easy bit and thankfully RFW is there to continue the ongoing heavy lifting.
SURFEBRUARY
SurFebruary is a fun annual event in February, where participants raise money for cancer research by catching a wave or getting in the water every day – rain, hail, or shine, in which Team Pontons was happy to oblige.
This philanthropic, grassroots event is now in its fifth year and is building serious momentum, more than doubling in size and donations year-on-year. Over the past 4 years the initiative has grown at a rapid pace. Approximately 1,117 participants have raised over $616,000 for innovative cancer research and treatment.
RAV TEAM CHALLENGE
Pontons participated in the ‘Run Against Violence’ (RAV) Challenge, a 1,300km virtual walk/run team challenge from Broken Hill to Sydney, creating awareness of and engaging the community in family violence prevention. There was a team of 20 clocking up their kilometres daily, enjoying the associated health benefits while starting a conversation about domestic violence. RAV is a worthy cause generating awareness to remove the social stigma that comes with domestic violence victims reaching out for help.
BE CENTRE - TWINKLE TWINKLE GALA FUNDRAISING DINNER
Be Centre is a children’s mental health charity providing vital emotional support to vulnerable children aged 3-12yrs. They receive no government funding and rely solely on the generosity of the community to ensure they can provide children experiencing difficulties with the skills and resilience they need to create brighter prospects for the future and ensure that problems don’t become more complex and entrenched.

Having worked alongside founder Terry Ponton since approximately 1989, Paul joined Pontons in 1998 (during its first year) and proceeded to assume ownership and management of the business in 2003. Paul has actively guided and shaped the development of the company from a small unique prestige valuation firm into the market leading boutique practice that it is today.
With a strong focus on the valuation of prestige residential property, Paul has undertaken valuation consultancy work on a broad cross section of some of Australia’s finest homes and projects and as such, is well regarded as a preeminent expert in this specific market sector.
With the expansion of the business now incorporating a Brisbane office, Paul’s scope of work has also broadened to encompass a wide range of property types and asset classes providing expert advice to major banks, financial institutions, legal and accounting firms and individuals. Key areas of expertise include asset valuations, new project/development site analysis, legal and family law matters, probate and regulatory disputes along with a growing portfolio of compulsory acquisition appointments.

Andrew Tunbridge is considered one of Sydney’s leading prestige property advisors, having been continually active in this market sector since 1998.
Andrew is a Certified Practising Valuer and Licensee in Charge of Pontons Buyers Advisory, together with being a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.
In addition to having purchased and valued many of Sydney’s finest residences, Andrew is actively involved in the boutique development site and property investment market, together with select commercial real estate.

Andrew Parkinson is a highly regarded real estate professional who commenced his career in 1992. Having been actively involved in transactions, development, valuations and asset/investment management in both Australia and the United Kingdom, Andrew has an extensive industry knowledge. Andrew first worked with Pontons' founder, Terry Ponton in 1994 and after a term in London, returned to Sydney and Pontons in 2004. Since then, as a company director Andrew has shaped Pontons into one of Sydney's pre-eminent independent valuation and advisory practices.
In addition to undertaking valuations for major banks, financial institutions, developers and private clients across all areas of Sydney, Andrew has consulted with local and state Government along with undertaking valuations in specific sectors including: taxation/accounting, legal/expert witness, estate planning, insurance, debt recovery/receivership and family wealth.
